Established and legally registered in July 7th 2007, Bali Villa Rental Association (BVRA) is aimed to be the only legally acknowledged villa rental association in Bali.Initiated as an informal think-tank forum of six prominent villa rental agencies in Bali, BVRA intentionally maintains the spirit of togetherness in achieving its ultimate objective, believing that – instead of competition – collaboration is the right way for business growth.

For the interest of its members and related stakeholders, which mainly are the clients (holiday makers) and the vendors (villa owners and/or management companies), BVRA gears itself into its visionary objective of active participation in promoting Indonesian tourism with Bali as the main focus, utilizing information technology as the medium in unity spirit.

As a self-initiated business association, BVRA is obviously established to serve and protect the interest of its members. The main and only source of business of BVRA members, which are the holiday makers renting villas in Bali through BVRA members, have the same importance as the members themselves. Serving and protecting customers interest is the most important factor in serving and protecting the interests of all BVRA members.

Relationship with related parties, including but not limited to villa owners, management companies, related government agencies, other related business associations, and suppliers of supporting auxiliaries, is another success aspect in villa rental business. In unity, BVRA aims to preserve harmonious business relationship to ensure maximum mutual benefit.
Finally BVRA members realize that there will be no success achieved in bad business climate. In the spirit of togetherness and believing that collaboration yields more than competition, BVRA aims to conduct and maintain conducive business climate.

Just launched, Bali Villa Forum which is administrated by BVRA and intended to become a community medium where those questions get answered. Everybody is invited to put their questions, make their opinions, and share their experiences. As an open forum, you will be getting honest and objective communal answers and responses, from other holiday makers, villa owners, rental agencies … all members of this forum.

(12/18/2006) Gede Nurjaya, the Head of the Bali Tourism Authority, has issued detailed instructions addressing local rules and regulations pertaining the celebration of Bali’s official day of silence - Nyepi set to fall on Monday, March 19, 2007.

Nyepi - the Balinese equivalent of the word for silence is the name given to the day each year when it is he religious obligation of every Balinese Hindu to dedicate an entire day to quiet introspection and spiritual cleansing as he or she embarks on a New Year in the Balinese lunar calendar.
